I'd like to know what you think about this effort. Please leave your comments in this Guest Book so I can share your thoughts with other visitors. If you have private comments or criticism, please use the Comment Form. Please remember that this is generally an inspirational, uplifting, and family-focused site. Because "Guest Books" have become a repository for spam in recent years, it is necessary to screen the material before posting it. Comments not in keeping with the theme and standards of the site are are not displayed (and not read, so don't even bother leaving them). Don't even think about leaving collections of links to other sites. Other comments will appear here as soon as practical. If you're interested in periodic updates to this site, new information that is made available, and general information that may be of interest to those following the families highlighted here, you may join my mailing list. This is not an especially active list, but I will distribute notices concerning information featured here from time to time. Click here for more information. David Wardell
Gene Taylor CommentsThanks for this genealogical information. I'm in search of information about Elizabeth Wardell, the mother of my great-grandfather and you've given me the connection. She was the daughter of Thomas Wardell born in 1781.
Sam LeFevre CommentsGreat Website: Took a lot of work. I am a ggg-son of Hannah Holyoak through William Dame. You might already know that both Rachel and Rebecca were adopted Piute Indian Girls. I have some stories and pictures about Hannah if you are interested. I would to see pictures posted.
Matthias Hornung CommentsHi! Great site! Do you have any further information about the family of Barbara Hurni? My first known ancestor was Peter Hurni from Guemmenen canton Bern (near Muehleberg) born about 1673. Best regards, Matthias Hornung
Marilyn Deatherage CommentsI have Salvisberg families in Muhleberg, Bern, Switzerland as well as Maeder, Herren, Scherler,Remund etc.
Justin Daniel Lindsay CommentsThank You for your web site and the info. My Grandmother did alot of genealogy work, but after she died no one has been able to find it. I really didn't know about my family history until I stumbled on to your web site. My wife and I took a vacation to Bear Lake last year and visited the graves in Bennington. It was cool. Thanks again for your work. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
CommentsI am a decendant of the Killingsworth family who came into the Carolinas shortly before the 1760s. They were scotch/irish. Your piece cleared up for me why they came from ulster and why...great |
